Calibrachoa, Million Bells
- Trailing habit
- Gorgeous white flowers
- Blooms all season
- Great for containers
Calibrachoa hybrid 'Neo White' displays abundant, white to pale primrose flowers with a huge bright yellow eyezone and throat. Blooms profusely all season long. Heat tolerant. Cascading habit; low maintenance. Best in containers including hanging baskets where it can display its fabulous trailing habit. Keeping plants too wet can lead to root rot diseases. Allow the top of the soil to dry before watering again. Self-cleaning, no deadheading necessary.
Growing Tips
Calibrachoas are ph sensitive and need a well-draining soil, therefore we do not recommend planting in the ground/beds. Typical garden soils are not acidic enough to keep Calibrachoas from having stunted, yellow growth. They perform best in containers with a good quality potting soil. If you have problems with budworms (you will first see holes in the blooms and buds, and about a week later, all the blooms are gone) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results. Treat as soon as you see any holes in the flowers or buds. Usually a treatment lasts about 6 weeks or more, depending on the year.
